Oliver McGoldrick is an Irish filmmaker / doctor. He grew up in the countryside outside Belfast, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in 2017, working as a doctor before pursuing his Masters in Film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

He divides his time between Northern Ireland and New York City where he is an MFA candidate at New York University’s Graduate Film programme.

He is a BAFTA North America Scholar and has been selected as part of the Film at Lincoln Centre Artists Academy cohort for the 2024 New York Film Festival. He is currently developing his next short film, Barnyard, as well as the feature film iteration of his short film, Three Keenings (2024) which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival 2024.
